Ladder 1 BBQ is a logo that was designed at the same time that the business name was created. The logo and name came together as a former fireman was interested in opening a neighborhood restaurant. We discussed how his BBQ restaurant could be marketed in conjunction with his life's work. The name was created as I was sketching the ladder as part of the logo idea. It was a fun collaboration
Saugus Wings AAU baseball logo
The Saugus Wings logo has an interesting history. My son played baseball in Saugus and an AAU team was starting up. The team needed a sponsor and coincidentally the boys loved a local Chinese restaurant’s version of BBQ chicken wings called “Saugus Wings” The AAU Director decided to call the team the “Saugus Wings” and this helped convince the restaurant to sponsor the team. I spent time trying to incorporate baseball and a bird in a unique way. I did not want the logo to look like other professional or college logos or mascots. After many sketches the logo came together in a way that not only combined baseball and a bird but also incorporated the letter S for Saugus. The logo has been in use for over 8 years and has been placed on uniforms, helmets, hats, bags, sweatshirts, and many other types of apparel.

Jenn of All Crafts is a company that produces various types homemade crafts. It was important to create a logo that told the story on Jenn of All Crafts. After creating this logo the owner was very happy with how the logo branded the company.
